My ratphobia has ended! Well...not really, but its substanially muted as I read this piece on Huffington Post about a new rat based service that detect hidden land mines in Africa. Some of the pluses, these native rats have a sense of smell that is 1 million times stronger than humans, and they are too light to set off the land mine, so they are perfect! I've never been prouder...or rats. more here
